Mother the Mamas

where mother-centric care
meets mind, body & soul nourishment

A woman holding two children, one toddler and one baby, in an embrace with noses touching, sharing a tender moment.

Meet Sylvia

As a mama to two little ones, I know  through the experience of my first traumatic birth and then, luckily, a redemptive healing home birth, the massive difference that truly mother-centric care can make in the postpartum period.

Through individual and community care, I offer heartfelt support to mothers at every stage. As a postpartum doula, circle facilitator, space holder, and future music therapist, my goal is to nurture and empower you.

Through 1:1 sessions and mothers circles, I am passionate about making each mother feel seen, held, and celebrated in every phase of motherhood.

  • “Sylvia welcomed me with such warmth and love from the first moment I met her. She approaches motherhood with thoughtfulness, humor, kindness, and honesty. With Sylvia’s support and guidance, I’ve not only gained practical parenting skills, I’ve also learned to honor all aspects of my motherhood journey, to be more kind to myself, and to ask for help when I need it. She brings her whole heart to this work and is a fierce advocate for mothers”
